Un solo disco
¿Y si solo les dejaran leer un solo libro durante el resto de sus vidas? Aunque lo pudieran leer multiples veces, solamente es un libro el que pueden escoger. En este caso yo creo tener dudas y no se aun cuál escoger, pero tengo mis preferencias marcadas.
¿Y si solamente pudieran ver una persona más? Si el mundo se derrumbara, o si fueran confinados a una isla a vivir como naufragos, pero solamente con una persona, ¿quién sería?

Meme: tour por mi cuarto
Esos que están arriba son para fácil acceso. En las cajas de abajo están los demás libros. Se observan algunos AudioBooks de "Augustine: Philosopher and Saint", "Argumentation: The Study of Effective Reasoning, 2nd Edition", y "Plato's Republic". Arriba se observa "Essays and Aphorisms" de Arthur Schopenhauer, para consultas rápidas, y escondidos por ahí andan Spinoza y Borges. En la pila de atrás a la izquierda encontramos obras varias de Tolkien, Isaac Asimov, José Saramago, Nostradamus, Alejandro Dumas, Carl Sagan y otros. Además, hay muchos textos de índole religiosa: "La Santa Biblia", "The Lost Gospels" (conocidos también como Apócrifos), "The Nag Hammadi Library" (que son evangelios perdidos pero no son los Apócrifos), "El Bhagavad Gita", "El Corán", "La Autobiografía de un Yogi" y los Sutras del "Diamante" y de la "Atención". También hay unos CDs, unas cartas de UNO perdidas y dos discos duros. De temática estudiantil solamente hay tres libros: "Objektorientierte Softwaremigration", "Sistemas Operativos" de Tanenbaum y "The Cartoon Guide to Genetics", libro que usé en Biología Molecular Computacional.
Aquí se observan tres fotos: María del Mar (mi mejor amiga), Mi Mamá (que Dios la tenga en su gloria) y la Maestra Ching Hai quien me enseñó a meditar. Junto a las fotos hay un chanchito que me mandó mi amiga Neerlandesa Sarah. Atrás hay una globo de plasma, una figura de Buda con un collar Hippie, una caja roja con dos bolas de Dragón chinas (de las que suenan como campanitas), una figura de mí echa de plastilina endurecida (con traje de científico y tubo de ensayo en la mano) que me regaló María del Mar, un rosario que me regaló mi finada abuela, la lampara de noche y sobre ella está Rombito, quien me acompaña siempre cuando salgo del país. Luego también se ve el despertador. Ah, y la SoHo que dejó "mi hermano" por ahí tirada. Bajo la mesita esta hay más libros y más revistas.
Como buen geek, mi peluche de cama es el estuche metálico de coleccionista de Quake III Arena, versión para Linux. Obviamente doblé las cobijas para esta foto, o al menos lo intenté. La mayor parte del tiempo nada más las tiro al lado oscuro de la cama (atrás) donde no se ven ¡y listo! Junto a la mesa de noche se ve otra foto de la Maestra Ching Hai que me regalaron, y el coso de madera que uso para guindar los sweaters y jackets. Por cierto, solía usar Linux antes de pasarme a Mac. En mi PC ahora uso Solaris. Pero no importa el sistema operativo, sigo jugando Quake todo el tiempo.
Cosas que no me gustan de mi cuarto: el color, es muy oscuro y yo me siento mejor en cuartos más tirando hacia el amarillo claro o el blanco, inclusive el violeta muy claro. Tampoco me gusta que sea tan pequeño y que no pueda tener una biblioteca como Dios manda, ni un sillón de leer bien grande. Pero bueno, esas son cosas que estoy trabajando por arreglar pronto.
